If you like getting fancy-pants about Christmas decorations, this one is for you!
I was browsing crafting websites when I saw some pretty wine bottle aprons made with white Aida fabric that had deep red borders. I immediately thought of my dad who likes making the dinner table look nice for special occasions. And since he likes red wine as well – he swirls it around his glass and sniffs it like nobody’s business – I thought that a homemade wine bottle apron would be a nice Christmas present. I get kind of crazy about making or buying (mostly buying) presents so well in advance that I sometimes forget about them altogether.
Anyway, I ordered the aprons, drew a simple wine glass on squared paper and dug out my deepest red cotton thread. It was a quick exercise: I finished the whole thing before Harry Potter 3 was over!
In the end, I had another idea for my dad’s Christmas present so I added the apron to my A Little Market shop: I’d love to hear what you think!
